32. Subject matter and practices used in general education across content areas.
a. Comprehensive
'97 e.g., (1) Strategies for organizing the curriculum into meaningful and relevant units. (2) Knowledge of state and local requirements and guidelines. (3) Major philosophies of curriculum development and organization. (4) Methods of developing a curriculum that fosters critical thinking skills. (5) A knowledge base and teaching strategies related to the basic elements and methodologies best suited to the development of literacy, mathematics, social studies, science, art, music, and physical education.
b. Bilingual-Bicultural
