As a future teacher I’m expected to be many things to my students, how can I be all they need and be a more effctive teacher at the same time?
After creating this protfolio I am faced with the knowledge that a Deaf teacher is placed in a situation of a high demand to educate all Deaf children; however, they are not given the proper resources needed to fullfill this demand. When searching for infomation on curriculum materials I found that many techniques were outdated or redone many times over. I also noticed that classroom testing techniques were not mentioned very much, but there was a large focus on Assesment testing. Due to this lack of information I understand why it is so hard to create proper testing method and curriculums needs for deaf children and hope that there will be a move to focusing more on the child’s individal needs and not their needs in comparison to hearing students
