How Hearing Parents of Deaf children can be more interactive with their Deaf child
Parents of Deaf students should try to develop a responsive child-centered style when interacting with their Deaf Child.
They should be more responsive to their child's gestures and wants. Then be opened to their needs with sensitively and a more non-directive manner.
Become a partner to the child and enteract on the child’s level sometimes, this keeps the focus and attention on the child.
Start rebuilding more of an emotional attachment to the child without being overprotective and over barring.
It is important for all caregivers to develop a loving parent child relationship with their Deaf children so language interaction can be more enjoyable
