Projected Goals of Assessment & Intervention
In the future of Assessment and Intervention professionals hope to see that planning will for the individual will continue to evolve.
It would also be better for the child if the professionals go the next step and take into accept the Degree deafness the childís working at.
Also Deafness should be seen as a Language difference and not as a Language Disability. This Ideas should reflect in Intervention procedures, which should utilize more ASL techniques
Deaf children will not be dumped into one intervention plan under labeled Bilingual with hearing children. These programs donít fit the needs of the deaf student that has other language problems
