Arrangements for ACE-DHH Conference in Williamsburg

The conference in Williamsburg March 1-4, 1996 promises to be unmatched--with the fabulous location of the meeting, the interesting papers, the opportunity to interact with peers, and the beautiful weather, all the ingredients are there for a great professional opportunity.

The meeting and accommodations will be at the Williamsburg Lodge (please note that there are several hotels in the area, so it is important that you remember we are at the Lodge).

Transportation will be on your own since getting to Williamsburg is relatively convenient, as well as inexpensive, to three airports in the vicinity. The following directory may be helpful:

Colonial Cab 804/565-1240 $20 for up to 2 people
Williamsburg Limousine 804/877-0279 $15 per person

Richmond International Airport 40 miles, 50 minutes

Groome Transportation 800/552-7911 $23 for 1 person, $15 each for 2 people

And, of course, there are car rentals available at each of the airports.

Rooms are available at the Lodge for $99 per night, single or double occupancy. Please contact the Lodge directly at 800/HISTORY for room reservations. Don t forget to tell them that you are with the ACE-DHH group.

Registration is $130 and includes a ticket for entrance to four Colonial Williamsburg buildings. You can upgrade your ticket to see additional buildings. Sunday morning is free time to enjoy Colonial Williamsburg so plan to get together with other conference participants and see the sights. Don t forget that there are jogging and walking opportunities along with several golf courses. Also included in the cost of registration are a country style buffet banquet, continental breakfasts, beverages during breaks, and sign language interpreters.
