Instructional Strategies

        Teachers use instructional strategies to help them determine what to teach, and how to teach it. These strategies can vary between each teacher. They also come from a variety of resources. Some of the strategies that Mrs. Cundra uses to determine and to teach her lessons are as follows:

        Mrs. Cundra uses many resources to help her plan lessons. Her lessons and her teaching style vary with each student. Some need constant attention, others do well with independent work. The studentsí assignments have included copying notes, reading stories, discussions, research on the Internet, and reading the newspaper to find articles that interest them.
