National History Standards
The National Center for the History in the Schools is in accordance with the National Goals for the year 2000. There is a range of standards for grades K through 12 for both U. S. History and World History. The standards are written so they are easily understood by professionals as well as by parents.

For use in the Deaf Education Classroom
These standards can be used as a guideline for creating a Deaf curriculum in history. They also have objectives that can be used for both general education classrooms as well as Deaf classrooms.
