    There are many ways to establish a good rapport with your students. Below are strategies to encourage a positive environment that can be used for all age levels. The classroom environment must have positive attitudes for the students to feel that they are safe and can learn there. You have to have rules and techniques to keep your classroom from becoming a war zone.
 
 

    Trying to eliminate all problems in the classroom is impossible, but trying to avoid most of them is possible. Another working concept is to encourage the students to use the "hydraulic lift", being kind to others makes one feel better about themselves; and learning to control themselves and avoid using the "teeter-totter syndrome", putting others down to make yourself feel better are both good methods to practice.
