Purpose:

This web site was created to help parents and early interventionists who are working with children who have cochlear implants. Most families have a number of questions about not only the implant itself, but also the effects it will have on their child’s learning. My intention is to help those involved with these children to make informed decisions regarding the education of children by making the best use of their implant.

Format:

This web site is organized into a series of questions regarding cochlear implants that parents and professionals might ask. For each question I have included not only answers and resources but also my personal insights.
