AUDITORY TRAINING

THE SYLLABLE GAME
TWO TO FOUR PLAYERS

DIRECTIONS:
1.EACH PLAYER SELECTS A GAME PIECE.
2.PLAYERS TAKES TURNS DRAWING CARDS THEN MOVING THE GAME PIECE AS MANY SYLLABLES AS
THE WORD HAS IN IT .  VARIATIONS : PLAYERS MAY SPEECH READ THE SYLLABLES.
3.THE FIRST PLAYER TO FINISH WINS.
MATERIALS:
GAME BOARD    CARDS WITH WORDS THAT THE
                            CHILDREN ARE FAMLIAR WITH SUCH AS
GAME PIECES    LUNCH, SCHOOL, COMPUTER

LISTEN TO ME
TWO OR MORE PLAYERS

1. EACH PLAYER NEEDS A PARTNER OR A TEAM MATE. OR ONE PLAYER CAN READ 
THE WORKSHEET WHILE THE OTHERS LISTEN.
2. ONE PLAYER READS THE DIRECTIONS FROM
THE WORKSHEET PROVIDED, WHILE THE OTHER PLAYER DOES WHAT THE DIRECTIONS SAY. AFTER THE WORKSHEET IS COMPLETE
THE PARTNERS CAN SWITCH AND USE THE NEXT WORKSHEET.
VARIATIONS: THE READER WILL SPEECH THE LETTERS OR SOUNDS.
