Materials:

• various items that are familiar to the student

• a decorated box to store items

1.  Have child stand looking into the decorated box .

2.  Teacher stands three feet behind the child's back.

3.  The teacher calls off  one of the items in the box.

4.  When the child hears the item, she holds that particular item  above her head.

5.  Example:       
    Teacher:  "toothbrush"                                   
    Child:  looks into the box, finds the toothbrush and lifts it over his head.

bathroom, kitchen, etc...
