
Introduction:
Many researchers and educators have focused their attentions on teaching deaf children communication skills and learning styles based within the hearing arena. This web site will attempt to focus on deaf children’s innate learning styles. I will explore how deaf infants and children use their own adaptive cognitive strategies to compensate for their audological limitations. From this I hope to focus on the cognitive strengths and adaptive strategies that teachers could use to focus on with their deaf students as strengths in their teaching strategies.
