Grant Reports

Donna found on the PT3 site a questionnaire tied to the ISTE standards. She hopes to make specific recommendations to modify the questionnaire to match what we are doing and having our faculty fill them out – will include opportunity for faculty to rate how they feel they are doing. Donna hopes to have draft of form available for the Advisory Council to review in San Diego.

Core Evaluator Group – plans to send out a Word Perfect copy of the DOE final report form and ask targeted people for comments directly on the form.

Meetings/Conferences

- San Diego – Karen has disseminated to the Leadership Team, for their review and comments, a schedule for our portion of the ACE-DHH conference. Karen is finalizing the agenda for the Advisory Council meeting and it will go out soon. There will be a break out session at the Advisory Council meeting to give Regional Directors a chance to meet amongst themselves and give the organization representatives a chance to do the same.

- March 6, Site Conference, Orlando, Florida – Donna to attend access and equality pre-conference day and to co-present as member of Core Evaluator Group; will also conduct on-site focus group to gather input. For their talk, Karen and Donna decided they all should utilize Harold’s PowerPoint presentation from Summer 2000; presentation will only require slight updating. Listeners can be referred to the website where they can find the presentation for further review and reinforcement.

Miscellaneous

- At Donna’s suggestion, Michelle to forward “Media Tool Kit” e-mail to Leadership Team.

- It was noted that Capacity grants are not available during the current DOE funding round.
