NORTHEAST TRANSITION FAIR 2000
October 27 - November 6, 2000
New England States and New York
The Gallaudet University Regional Center (GURC) at Northern Essex Community
College is thrilled to present the Northeast Transition Fair in conjunction
with 7 other host schools! This will prove to be a fun-filled
event for
deaf and hard of hearing students as well as for people interested
in
knowing more about colleges and career options.
The Transition Fair is for those who are interested in knowing more
about
college and career opportunities. We will have many people from
different
colleges and universities and vocational rehabilitation agencies to
present
options for students wanting to find out more about life after high
school.
Rehabilitation counselors for the deaf will share their knowledge about
the
working world---so come on and join us as we support the students in
their
endeavor for greatness/success!
Locations and dates of the Transition Fair will be held at 7 sites
throughout the region. To register, please call the contact person
at the
nearest location at least a week before the event to RSVP if possible,
thanks. The event is FREE for participants.
