Qualifications:
Candidates must hold, or be eligible to hold, a certificate issued
by the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board with an
endorsement in hearing impaired. Other desired qualifications
include: Experience at the primary elementary level; proficient
sign language; experience with cochlear implants; strong people
skills; ability to work effectively with an educational team;
advocate for hearing impaired children; and willingness to participate
on school and District committees and in required in-
service activities.
Summary of Work and Responsibilities:
This position will support two kindergarten hearing-impaired children
in the public school system. The teacher will adapt
materials and lessons to student levels and abilities and serve
as liaison to the family and school district staff.
