Qualifications:
-
BA Deg in Deaf Ed or Visually Impaired;

certified or certifiable by the State of Arizona;

knowledge of K-12 Curriculum;

fluency in sign language or braille;
-
evidence of speech & auditory education skills or visually impaired
education skills
Summary of Work and Responsibilities:
-
Design & provide specialized instruction to either the hearing
impaired or visually impaired children in center based & public school/mainstream
programs.
-
Provide or coordinate support services including tutoring, special materials
& equipment.
-
Provide assistance to staff and students
