Qualifications:

•  BA/BS Degree in Deaf Education
• Deaf Education Teaching Certificate or able to become certified in Texas
• Knowledge in teaching multi-level students in a center based class
• Fluency in Sign Language

• Design & provide specialized instruction to deaf children in a self-contained classroom.
• Provide or coordinate implementation of IEP goals
• Provide assistance to parents, staff and students.

 Join a dynamic group of staff members providing services to deaf and hard of hearing students in 10 school districts.  Our co-op is located 30 minutes south of Houston and 30 minutes north of
Galveston Island (the beach).  We provide an array of services from an Audiologist, Speech Therapist, Communications Specialist, Interpreter Coordinator, Licensed School Pyschologist, and two AI Specialists.  Come learn and grow with our team!
