Qualifications:
 IQAS rating Novice or equiv., High School diploma or GED; demonstrated proficiency in English and in Sign Language; previous experience working with children or adults

Summary of Work and Responsibilities:

• Utilize the interpreting process to ensure that the student has access to communication presented in the class.
• Clarifies information given in the classroom to facilitate understanding of the lesson content.
• Plans & prepares to appropriately interpret daily learning experiences and in vocational settings.
• Provides input to other educational team members and IEP development.
