Objectives: Selected graduate students will extend their breadth of knowledge related to critical topics by researching web resources and summarizing their findings.

Procedures:

a. As part of a course assignment, graduate students will select from a list of course-related topics prepared by the course instructor.

b. Students will search the web for materials/information/resources related to the selected topic.

c. Students will maintain a log which indicates:

- the information/search undertaken

- sources found

- a brief synthesis of the information found

d. Students will turn information in to the course instructor for review and distribution to other graduate students.

Technology Used: Graduate students will use the internet to access the world wide web.

Evaluation Strategies/POST DATA:

1. Graduate student logs will be reviewed for breadth of coverage of the assigned topic, and for clarity of the explanatory/summary information provided.
