A Virtual Library for the field of deaf education - includes PowerPoint projects, syllabi, etc. on subjects such as assessment, auditory training, history, language and more. Materials can be viewed and used by site visitors -- all without a library card!

This site is a product of two grant funded projects. For the period of 10/1/03 through 9/30/06, the Join Together project is funded by the U.S. Department of Education's PT3 initiative. This grant provides $1,560,900 (47% of the project total); fifty-three percent ($1,775,040) of the total cost will be financed by nongovernmental sources.
Additionally, between 6/1/00 and 9/30/04, the Catalyst project received $1,995,454 from the U.S. Department of Education's PT3 initiative. This amount was 41% of the total cost of the project. Fifty-nine percent ($2,907,643) of the total cost was financed by nongovernmental sources. |

 Hands & Voices is a national non-profit parent-driven organization that provides communication-unbiased information, educational advocacy, parent-mentoring and much more to families with children who are deaf or hard of hearing, and to the professionals who serve them.
